1800 TEU series ships appeared in “Significant Ships of 2014”

In 2014, SITC International Holdings Company Ltd. ordered 1800TEU series container ships to CSBC Corporation, Taiwan and these ships appeared in the magazine “Significant Ships of 2014”, which is published by The Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) in London.

Three out of the twelve 1800TEU series ships are already in service. These ships’ type is so-called “Bangkok Max” with “Sea Sword Bow”, which is effective to reduce fuel consumption by about 10 percent.
By coping with the needs of energy-saving and carbon dioxide emissions reduction, the environmentally-conscious design was highly evaluated.
